Hi I'm Bill Harn

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Served in the military for 2 years. Worked Manufacturing for 20 years. Have worked financial services for 14 years. I am married and between us we have 4 children.

Why I am a Mormon

At age14 I was hanging with the wrong crowd. By age 16 I knew things had to chang. So my mom and I called my blood dad and asked if I could spend some time with him. They were mormons but we didnt know till later on. During my stay we went to church every sunday and attended all activies that the church had and that my stepmom setup. I was having a blast. I also had to work to make money and keep up my school work. I attended seminary in school even though I wasnt a member yet. These are the things that attracted me to the church (family home evening-we had great activities as a family, the word of wisdom-taking care of your body, getting married in the temple-sealed to your partner and family forever, temple work-giving your anciestors the opportunity to hear the gospel and the opportunity to be sealed together as a family, no paid ministry-the local leaders work jobs and dont receive pay for serving the lord and building his kingdom on earth, tithe is paid with discrection and not passing around a plate, members have callings and do talks-which always them to grow, home teaching and visiting teaching-allows church members to help and look after each other, the plan of salvation-knowing were we came from why we are here and where we are going, we have a modern day prophet and the quorm of the 12-which guide and direct us in these times). I am so blessed to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I am a counselor in the Bishopric. I am grateful for my calling and the opportunity to learn and serve.
