Hi I'm Echo

I'm a Mormon and it is my life!

About Me

Born and raised in the church. I love my family. I have struggles like everyone else. but I love life! a little about me, I love dancing! salsa, country, ballroom, swing, it's all good! I would love to go to school right now, but due to unforseen circumstances, I can't go, so I am just working. I do sit and stare at a computer all day. but I love my job! I love the church! i'm really shy, so it's harder for me to make friends. But that's something I have to get over since now I'm part of the welcoming committee at my ward.

Why I am a Mormon

I dont know where I would be without the church. Yes, I did grow up with it, but seeing my life compared to friends outside of the church. I love them all, but I feel like I have things to look forward to. Reasons to better myself. People may think me a "typical Mormon" cause I dont swear, sleep around, drink, etc., but life really is easier without that in my life. I dont want to be a slave to anything and the guidelines in the gospel help me steer clear from that. I have had my heart broken a time or two from dating someone who wont accept my way of living or my beliefs, but I believe those trials will just make me stronger and prepare me for someone better who will take me for who I am, and I them. I love this Gospel! I am so grateful for my Savior and all he's done for me. I'm grateful that he has provided a way for us to learn and grow and then return back to him. Prayer works! I know I need to turn to him more often, but it does work! I'm so grateful for that. I dont usually share my testimony in words, just in my works as best as I can. I'm grateful for my parent's and the friends I have in the church that show a great example.

How I live my faith

I just got called in the welcoming committee in my new ward. I'm still learning what to do, but it will be good! I'm excited to get to know people in the ward. I mostly live my faith by going to church every week. not because I have to, or that it would be expected of me, but that my life feels empty if I'm not there. those three hours at church and the lessons there are there for a reason and help complete my life and my week. I love everyone! I know no one is perfect, but as long as people outside of the church respect my views, I will respect them. I try to give everyone the benifit of a doubt and try not to be the first to judge. I try to look at everyone as a daughter or son of God. We all have struggles, and we all need a friend. I have my values and my standards, and I wont give them up for the world!
