Hi I'm Amy

I grew up in Northern Ireland (UK). I'm a Mormon (Latter-day Saint).

About Me

I'm studying Music at University. I play piano and flute.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family. I began to recieve my own testimony at 11 years old, and at 15 I recieved my own testimony that this is the true Church. At 15 I began to question a lot of things about life, and about things that I was going through in my personal life. However, after a while I realised that it was the Church, and my Heavenly Father and Saviour that were the only things that were going to get me through all the things I was going through. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father who watches over each of us, and knows us by our names. I know that He will help and comfort us as we need, and as we seek His help. I know that Christ atoned for our sins, and for all the pain, suffering, afflictions and illnesses that we face in this life. I know that He loves us, and that He is reaching out to help each one of us. I know that He cares about us, and I know He understands us, and everything we're going through and all our thoughts and feelings. I know that Joseph Smith was the prophet of the Restortation, and that through him, Christ restored His church. I know that he saw the First Vision as he recorded it. I know that he translated the Book of Mormon by the gift and power of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Thomas S Monson is our living prophet today, and that Christ directs His church through His prophets, as He did anciently. I know that the Church is true. I know it's ture.

How I live my faith

I have just recently been called to teach the Young Women in my branch (12-18 year olds), and I'm looking forward to it! (It's my first calling, so I don't have much to say about it yet) :)
