Hi I'm Whitney Keith

I am a wife to my best friend, a mother to two beautiful daughters, an amateur photographer, a huge Karaoke fan and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was blessed to have had the gospel in my life since well I was born. I met my husband at church when I was twelve on a Youth hay ride. We were best friends instantly and could always count on each other. We have two beautiful daughters that are the center of our world. I am an amateur photographer I love being outdoors and taking pictures of the beautiful earth God has given us. I am a Certified Pharmacy Technician but currently in College because I want a change in scenery I guess.

Why I am a Mormon

Well I could name many reasons why I choose to be Mormon. The one that stands out to me that I guess confirmed my faith was a miracle I experienced. My husband and I had been married for 3 years and he became ill, the doctors were suspecting that it was Leukemia. He had extremely low platelets and not responding to any of the treatments they were giving him. This was one of the scariest moments in our life he had petechia all over his body. They scheduled a bone marrow biopsy and we called the ward bishop at the time. The Bishopric came and gave my husband a beautiful blessing. The next day the doctor that was supposed to do the very painful biopsy said he felt that we shouldn't get it done or at least wait. The next time they checked his blood he had started responding to the treatment and his platelets were rising. Today he is doing fine and the doctors could never figure out what was wrong but I truly believe the Lord cured him and that it was a miracle.

How I live my faith

I was recently called Alexandria Stake Relief Society Secretary which is the women's organization where we can get together and celebrate being sisters. I created our blog and maintain the posts for it. I love my calling and how much it is helping me grow as a latter day saint. My husband and I love having the missionaries over to feed and visit with. I recently started sharing my talent of singing at church, I performed at a amazing musical fireside and our relief society leadership meeting.
