Hi I'm Reva Ard Gee

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter... a sister... a wife... a mother... and a grandmother. I love my family more than I ever thought possible. We have been blessed to be stewards over some amazing animals called alpacas. Currently, we have 20 alpacas. They are gentle and timid creatures that "hummm" when they are content, and sound an alarm when they are stressed or perceive danger. Their fleece is as soft as cashmere and non-allergenic. I have learned to make their fleece into yarn on my spinning wheel, but never seem to have enough time! I also like to crochet. I enjoy friends, watching movies, and playing games. My favorite foods are Mexican food and popcorn. I also appreciate people with a good sense of humor!

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be raised in the church. My father was a convert when he married my mother and became very active in the church. He was a Branch President, a Bishop, a member of the stake High Council, and later a sealer in the temple. My parents always taught me to stay close to the gospel. After watching some of the choices my classmates made while growing up, I was even more thankful that I had been taught gospel principles. I was allowed to learn about other religions, but never felt the same powerful feelings that I do when attending the Mormon church. I have made many mistakes along the way... which makes me extremely thankful for the atonement and the healing powers of forgiveness. I can't imagine being a member of any other church.

How I live my faith

There are many opportunities to serve and learn in the Mormon church. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with the children, the young adults, and even the adults. Teaching various lessons has helped me to gain confidence while standing in front of groups. Telling others about my testimony has only helped it to grow stronger.
