Hi I'm Shelby Lynn

I grew up in a small town in southern Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey there! A little bit about me...I went to college for a year and a half and have recently decided to take a break and save up money to go on a mission. I love sports, being outside, shopping, and hanging out with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a LDS community. My parents are both faithful members of the church. However, saying that I am a Mormon because my parents are is not why I am apart of this church. I have found for myself that this is the only true living church upon the earth today. I am so grateful for the Church in my life. I dont know where I would be without it. I think of all the people on this earth who have no understanding of the Atonement and the Plan of Salvation and wonder how sad it is that some people believe that there is no life after death. Life would have no meaning if that were true. I will always be in debt to our Loving Savior for caring so much about me that he would give His own life so I can live with my Heavenly Father again someday. Without the Atonement that wouldn't be possible. None of us are perfect. We all make mistakes. But thats whats so great about the Atonement! When we do make mistakes we can be forgiven. We are not perfect-but through Him, we can be perfect. I don't know who will read this or if it will make a difference in anyones life, but I just want you to know that I do have a testimony of this church. Christ our Savior and our loving Father in Heaven are real. They know each of us by name and they love us so much! I hope you let this gospel change your life and bring you everlasting joy.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? Everyday I just do my best to be the person the Lord would have me be. Doing the small and simple things(praying, studying the scriptures, ect.)I have found make the biggest difference. I also try to think, "If the Lord was here, what would He do?" Thinking that throughout the day puts my mind set in a place where it is easier to make more righteous choices. And always heed to the prompting of the Spirit as well as counsel from the Prophets.
