Hi I'm Tiffany

I'm loud and spontaneous. I love to laugh, sing, and be with the people I love. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm leaving in February to serve a mission in Santiago, Chile. I'm so excited to serve the Lord and teach the gospel! I'm the oldest of 5 kids and I love my family. I'm very close to my three sisters and grew up playing house and dolls with them. I'm currently a student at UVU and I'm majoring in social work. I had the opportunity to be a counselor at Oakcrest Girls' Camp this last summer and it was an amazing experience! I love to dance, it's always been a big part of my life. Jazz, Ballroom, lyrical, modern, hip hop.... I love to have fun. I love boating, hiking, blowing bubbles, and coloring.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy and gives my life meaning. It makes me a better person! It gives me the opportunity to let God make more of my life then I can make of it! I'm a Mormon because I can see God's hand in my life everyday. His tender mercies are abundant and proof to me that He loves me! This gospel has been an anchor in my life; especially during hard times. It gives me hope and comfort. I know that I have a Heavenly Father and Savior that love me. I know that I can pray to them at any time, in any place and they will listen and answer. Because of that, I never need to fear or feel alone. My life is in the hands of my loving Father who only wants what's best for me. I know my life has a purpose! I know that my family can be together forever. I know that I can see loved ones that have passed on again! I know that this gospel is the only true way to be happy forever. I know that through the Atonement of Christ we can become stronger and we can be comforted. I know that our Father in Heaven loves us unconditionally and that we can return to him one day!!

How I live my faith

I'm choosing to serve a mission so that I can help others to know what I know! I had the opportunity of teaching Gospel Principles in my last ward and it was fun to learn even more about this wonderful gospel. I love this gospel and the joy it brings to my life! I love going to church each Sunday and going to ward activities during the week. Institute has been a big strength for me; I've learned so much from it! The gospel isn't a checklist of things to do, it isn't just going to church on Sundays. The gospel should be a lifestyle. It's doing everything we can to align our lives with Christs. He is the perfect example. We can assure ourselves lasting happiness when we are doing the things he has asked us to do. Every commandment is for the purpose of keeping us on the right path back to our Father in Heaven. By keeping the commandments we are allowing ourselves the chance to become more than we are right now! I like to live by the motto: "Try a little harder to be a little better!" We are just trying to improve ourselves and be our best self! This gospel has so much to offer us. We just need to take advantage of it!

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Tiffany
It starts with a desire. You have to want to know if it is true or not. In Moroni 10:4 we are taught that if we ask God with a sincere heart and real intent and if we have faith in Christ then we will know if it is true by the power of the Holy Ghost. The most important thing to do is to pray and ask your Heavenly Father if it is true. He wants to answer you He wants you to know the truth. The Holy Ghost will give you an assurance to your heart and mind that it is true. Or Heavenly Father expects us to do our part though. If we want to know if the Book of Mormon is true, we have to read it. The Lord can't drive a parked car. We need to get in the car and start driving in the direction we think is right and then he will guide us down the right roads if we ask. A wonderful thing about this church is that we don't have to just rely on words of a prophet, we can find out for ourselves. We can get our own witness. And then the scriptures and the prophet can confirm and strengthen the testimony that we already have. Show more Show less
