Hi I'm Beth

I was raised in southern California. I have been married 15 years. I was not raised Mormon, but I'm a Mormon now.

About Me

I am a new mom, raising a new baby boy that I love so much. I have been married 15 years and we waited a long time to have kids. My husband and I were scared to have kids. We decided we were not getting any younger and to just take the plung. Here I am.

Why I am a Mormon

My husband and I decided to have children. We wanted to raise our kids with the same religous backgrounds as us. We started to investigate churchs and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was the closest. My husband was raised Mormon, but left the church at a young age. I was raised going to a Catholic church. The moment we step into the church(The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) we felt VERY welcomed. People we did not know walked right up to us and introduced themseleves to us. Everyone was very friendly and we felt like we were home. This was the church for us and it felt right. There are so many things I love about the church, such as when you have a baby the members bring meals for you and your family for a week. If you are sick everyone is willing to help lighten the load for you. I have never been to a church or met a large group of people that is willing to lend a helping hand.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying every day to my heavenly father. I read my scriptures every day with my son. I try to keep the spirt in our house by blocking rated R movies. I am also a leader for our young women in our ward/church. We have activities every week, were we meet at church and discuss about being living examples of God and making it fun for the girls.
