Hi I'm Justin Taylor

I'm a Pre-Med student and am going to be a surgeon someday. I love helping other people in any way I can, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music (mainly country), sports, and all things outdoors. I come from an amazing family that believes strongly in the virtues of hard work. I spent the first half of my life in a small town on the family farm in northern Utah, and the more recent half in a small town in central Illinois. I went from that small town to Utah State University and am studying Pre-Med, I'm going to be a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon. I'm going to learn how to help children be able to run and play when they normally wouldn't be able to because of birth defects or injury. I am currently taking time off from my education to live the dream as a one of God's own missionaries in sunny southern California!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have found out for myself that this is the only true and living church on the earth today. Living because I know that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is it's ever living head. I have felt a peace and happiness in my soul that never before exsisted for me on this earth. I have read the Book of Mormon and have prayed to know of its truthfulness. I have recieved that stirring in my heart, that perfect calmness, that promised peace that tells me that it is true. That it is God's word meant for us in these days. I know that God restored His church through Joseph Smith. I certify, doubting nothing. That Jesus Christ suffered, and died on the cross for me, that he atoned for my sins.. If you want to know this for yourself I invite you to keep reading, keep praying. Take my testimony of these things so that you can build your own and feel the way I do. To feel God's love. Find the missionaries and hear the message they have for you.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best example of a Christian that I can be. I try to follow Christs' perfect example. Right now I live my faith through serving my Lord as a missionary. I teach of Christ, I testify of Christ, and I want everyone to feel his perfect love.

What is faith?

Justin Taylor
Faith is the hope for things that are true, and the evidence of things not seen. Before we can have faith we have to have knowledge. We receive information through listening, seeing, and feeling. We then have a hope that the information is true, and that is when we start to have faith. We then increase our faith through acting on it through prayer and feeling the Holy Ghost. To have true faith we need to have three things. 1) An idea that God does exist. 2) A correct idea of His character, perfections, and attributes. 3) An assurance that one's course of life is in accordance to and is harmonious with God's mind and will.
