Hi I'm Kyler Ray

I grew up in Utah. I am an going to serve a mission in the Dominican Republic, and I leave August 29th. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports, and I've grown up on them my whole life. I have attended three colleges. Dixie State, Utah Valley University, and Brigham Young University. All great universities, but BYU is different, it's hard to describe, but it's the Religion aspect that sets it apart. I played football, basketball, and baseball growing up. I have a younger brother currently serving a mission in Jamaica. I am close to my brother in the Dominican Republic, serving for the next 2 greatest years of my life!. My full name is Kyler Ray . I have a older sister whom I'm best friends with. She has a beautiful daughter. My mother is amazing, and also my best friend. She helped me so much to get on my mission. My dad is whom I look up to and hope to be like one day. He has taught me so much in my life and I am very grateful for him and my whole family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church is true, and I know it to be true because I've searched and I've prayed to know that it's true. I didn't live most of my teenage life in sync with the church standards, and I put myself through a lot of trials, but a blessing came from it. The blessing was and is that I gained an understanding of the infinite Atonement, and perfect plan of salvation. I know that my Father lives, and His Son lives. I know that my and you Savior, Jesus Christ, bore all our sins, trials, feelings of sorrow, and anything else you can fathom in a negative sense in the Garden of Gethsemane, and it continued when He was hung upon the cross, and I know that our Father in Heaven loved each and every one of us so much; that He just watched as his only begotten son cried out for Him. I know He loved us enough to not do anything so we could have one of the greatest gifts if not the greatest gift ever known, the Atonement. Which can guide us to Eternal Salvation. I know that Joseph Smith, our first Prophet, was a true and great Prophet. I know he restored this gospel by the power of God. I know he saw God the Father and the Son in the field where he went and offered a prayer for guidance to know what was true, and he got an answer that he couldn't have possibly have guessed he would've received, but he did, and he took it and in faith went forth and did marvelous works, and he brought forth the greatest book ever made The Book of Mormon. This church is true.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by attending church, reading my scriptures, praying morning and night. I also live my faith by participating as much as possible, and trying to get to know my fellow ward members. I also live my faith by showing my desire to serve, and trying to help my Father in Heavens fellow children out.
