Hi I'm Lindsey

I am a Texas girl at heart. I am a devoted wife and mother, & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the ocean and all things green. I love reupholstering furniture and making old things new again. My daughter and I spend our days together discovering the world around us. We love going to parks and to the zoo where she can feed the "duckies". My husband and I recently started running together in the mornings, and I can't tell you how much fun that has been!

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that God is my Eternal Father and that His Son, Jesus Christ, is my Savior. While I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, there was definitely a point in my life where I began my own personal conversion process. In the summer of 2001, I was given the chance to visit Nauvoo, Illinois where much of the Church's early history took place. I remember on this trip that I said a prayer early one morning, and asked whether the Book of Mormon was true, and I remember receiving my answer from God that it was. That knowledge helped me to continue growing my testimony, having faith that God would always answer my prayers. And while this is one singular experience, it has been added upon by many small other experiences that culminate in my testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Without my faith and sure knowledge that Christ's Church is again upon the Earth, my life would feel less fulfilling, my family could not be eternal, and my trials would be much more difficult to bear.

How I live my faith

I love serving the young women of our ward. They are a blessing to me, and I learn so much from them. They have made my heart bigger, with a greater capacity to love. Together we have reached out many times to serve our church family, as well as our community. This effort has been blessed by our Heavenly Father's desire for all of His children to feel of His love for them.
