Hi I'm Chuck Parker

I'm a Mormon. I'm from Sumter, S.C. I lived and worked here most of my life. I've been a Mormon all my life.

About Me

I've been married for 42 years and have 4 children. I drive a delievery truck to different cities and towns around our state. I've enjoyed playing, coaching and officiating all kinds of sports in my community. This allowing me to meet and know a lot of people. I even worked for our city for 14yrs. I really like or community.

Why I am a Mormon

My grandfather was one of the first mormons in our county. My mother was a mormon. So I grew up in the Church, through all the programs it offers. But I too had to gain a testimony of the Gospel and of my Savior Jesus Christ. The programs and activities of the church had tought me about Christ and how I could know for my self if the Gospel is true and that Christ lives and loves us all. Through serving others I have seen the power and blessings of the priesthood and the love of Jesus Christ poured out on so many. And I have seen and do see these blessings in my own life and that of my family. I know that Christ is our savior and redeemer and that we have a living Heavenly Father that loves us.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good example of my faith by the way I live my life daily. The church has given me many oppertunities to serve as a teacher, a leader of an organization and even as a Bishop. These things help me to learn more about my faith and the love of people.
