Hi I'm Cody

I am a seminary instructor who loves to skateboard, I have a beautiful family, and I owe everything to the Savior Jesus Christ.

About Me

I'm a happy man, and managed to marry the girl I fell in love with at age sixteen. I am studying psychology at a university in Utah, and am pursuing a career as a Seminary and Institute Instructor for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I believe, by the power of the Holy Ghost, that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored by Joseph Smith. It has been confirmed in my mind, heart, and soul that Jesus is the Christ, and that I am a member of His established church. For that reason I want to help the youth of the world learn of the precious doctrines and teachings He has revealed. I love the outdoors, my knees tell me I spent too much time skateboarding as a kid, and I can't help but enjoy a good country song. I love a chocolate anything, and I love studying psychology. More than anything, I love that I am sealed to my wife and family by God's true power, and I love the Savior for the Atonement He performed.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon first and foremost because God has guided me, taught me, and giving me the answers I have sought to know. He has answered my prayers of whether or not the Gospel of Jesus Christ was truly restored in its entirety by the Prophet Joseph Smith. I am a Mormon because every answer and concern we could have is found within the revealed doctrines of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am a Mormon because I have a personal relationship with our Father in Heaven, with Jesus Christ, and have felt the Holy Ghost as real as a man can feel anything in this life. I am a Mormon because God has shown me eternal truth, and how to have eternal life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith simply by living it the best I can. By having a personal connection and relationship with our Father in Heaven, and the Savior, I always hold confidence that I can never be lead astray. I live my faith by striving to follow God's will, and not my own. I am never ashamed of my Lord and Savior, and of His restored church. Living a life with that faith and attitude is the only way that I could live and be truly happy. I strive to do all that He asks of me. Simple as that.
