Hi I'm Megan

I'm a Mormon. I love serving other people. Whether long-time friends or someone I just met, I love helping other people smile!

About Me

I love running, playing tennis, hiking, mountain biking, pretty much anything outdoors. In Utah there are so many beautiful places to hike and be outside and just enjoy nature. I love music as well and have been playing piano ever since I was 4 years old. There's something about music that helps me express my feelings better than anything else I've ever found. My family is the most important thing to me in the world. I am so lucky to be a part of my family. I have the best parents in the world, 3 brothers and 1 sister and tons of fun neices and nephews. Like I said, family is everything to me!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of my family. I love my family. I want to be with my family forever. As we follow God together, I know that my family will be able to be together forever. Everything that I do, every choice that I make day by day is influenced by that ultimate goal that I have to be able to be with them and with Heavenly Father forever. I know that it is only through Jesus Christ, through His gospel that we are able to overcome life's challenges, to be able to continue to move forward regardless of what happens around us. I know that our Heavenly Father lives and loves us. He is so aware of us and our individual situations and needs. As I have faced challenges in my life, it has been His love and His help that has been the source of strength I've needed to continue. I love my life and I am so grateful for all that God has given me.

How I live my faith

I am currently a full-time missionary serving in the Cambodia Phnom Penh mission. You know, growing up I never really thought that I would have the chance to serve a mission. After I finished college (studying Piano at Utah State University), I was working in downtown Salt Lake, pursuing a career in finance. I started getting really involved in community service and was amazed at how much happiness serving other people brought me. As I thought about what I could do to really help the people around me, the most precious thing I have in my life is my testimony that through the gospel of Jesus Christ our families can be together forever. This is the message that I am sharing in my full-time service as a missionary here in Cambodia. You wouldn't believe how difficult some of these people's lives here in Cambodia are. But I have seen miracles as they have embraced this gospel, their families have received peace, happiness, and success. I love them so much and know that the number one way that I can help them is by teaching them about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. All that is unfair about this life can be resolved through the gospel of Jesus Christ. There is no heartache, no trial that goes unnoticed by Heavenly Father and I feel so lucky to have the privilege of sharing this message every day, all day as a missionary.
