Hi I'm Kerry

I'm a Mormon. I know I am a daughter of a King, I have a Heavenly Father that loves me & has blessed me with many miracles!

About Me

I love spending time with my cute baby girl Ella and being a fun mommy. I also love to travel and try new foods. I like to experience other cultures and see all the wonderful things Heavenly Father has created for us on this earth to enjoy. I love to do temple work especially for my ancestors & find great joy in helping move along their eternal progression. I find joy in serving others and am passionate about looking forward to the future and fulfilling ones potential and not looking back and feeling like you will be a product of where you came from. I have a twin sister named Kelly that is a huge blessing in my life who also shares in my love for the temple and doing work for our ancestors. My greatest joy has been becoming a mommy to a smart and energetic little girl, I look forward to raising her in the gospel and taking care of her the way Heavenly Father expects me to and hope that she decides to go on a mission one day. I have a new found passion for running and love to compete in races. I am grateful and don't take for granted that I am able to run and look forward to running my first marathon soon. I strongly believe that part of enduring to the end is finding a balance in all things. We were put on earth to be happy....so seek that out. We can go through our trials with the perspective that it's all part of a great adventure and our reward will be waiting for us if we are faithful in the end.

Why I am a Mormon

I have learned for myself that the Restoration of the Gospel has occurred and that Joseph Smith who was directed by our Heavenly Father to restore it is a true prophet. I have a firm testimony in the sacred healing powers of the priesthood and the joy that can be found in doing temple work. I am a Mormon because the fullness of this gospel provides me with all of the answers and direction I need to fulfill my potential and return to a beautiful place sealed with my family for eternity.

How I live my faith

I believe the best way to live my faith is by example. One of the ways I do this is fulfill my church callings which is currently as a Primary teacher teaching the Sunbeams which I love. I believe we should have a Christ-like attitude towards everyone and remember that people are watching us in ways we don't even realize to exemplify our faith.

What is faith?

Kerry
Faith is things that are hoped for but not seen and a belief that something is real. Faith truly does proceed the miracle meaning if we have Faith and try to live as Christ would we can be a witness of many miracles in our life but these miracles and blessings only come after we have had Faith and believed they could come to pass. Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

Kerry
Each year, on July 24, we celebrate Pioneer Day. This day is in commemoration of July 24, 1847, the day that Brigham Young and Latter-day Saint pioneers entered the Salt Lake Valley. The pioneers entered the Salt Lake Valley in search of a safe haven after being forced from areas back East. They sacrificed much to make the journey to the Salt Lake Valley and on Pioneer Day we honor them. Show more Show less
