Hi I'm Isabel

I'm adopted from South Korea, I'm a track and field runner, a swimmer, a soldier, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently in my senior year in high school. I am enlisted in the U.S Army as a 42A in the 530th Military Police Battalion. I enjoy running track and field and swimming varsity for my high school. I swim the 100 freestyle, the 100 fly, and the medley relays. In track I run the 100m, the 200m, and the 400m. In my free time I enjoy training with my battle buddies in the army and swimming on my own. Athletics has always been my like second life outside of school. It has given me a family that I can always turn to.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church by my parents who set a great example to me by being charitable, patient, and understanding, but eventually I had to find my own testimony and not rely on theirs anymore. In my life I have always struggled with a sense of who I am, my like own identity. But the gospel has given me a message of hope, that I can turn to when I am struggling.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by simply trying to become a better person each and every day. Every day is a new day to do things better and that is how I look at it. I strive to do my very best to live the gospel standards and the teachings of the prophet.
