Hi I'm I'm Bekah

I am a math teacher, wife to a wonderful man, mother to a perfect baby boy and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I will always call Colorado my home. However, I am currently living in Oregon and have fallen in love with this green state. I am a wife to a wonderful man who has helped me learn some of lives most valuable lesson. I'm a new mom to a perfect little baby boy. I love anything that involves being outside- hiking, biking, camping, snowboarding, swimming... I have always had a passion for teaching and have known that is what I have wanted to do since the 4th grade. I hope to get a job teaching or tutoring math online so I can work from home and be with my son.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born and raised in the church and have been a relatively obedient child, it wasn't until I moved away to college where I learned that the gospel is a way of life. I have always believed in God and had a testimony that Joseph Smith is a prophet but hadn't fully grasped the need for the atonement. Although my understanding of his Atonement is still limited I know that this life is given to us to find happiness and build eternal families. I know that true joy can only be accomplished through obedience and an understanding of God's plan for you. Because of my faith in God and desire to live with him again, I live my life differently than I use to- life has more purpose. One of my all time favorite quote that I strive to life by is,"Live your life so that people know Christ because they know you".

How I live my faith

Living my faith is more that just going to church on Sunday. It is constantly looking for opportunities to serve other and help those in need. I have some amazing people in my life that are perfect examples of loosing themselves in the service of others. I recently got called to work with the children at church. These children are wonderful examples to me. They constantly look for the good in others and always wanting to help in any way they can.
