Hi I'm Kaylee

I am a college student.

About Me

Hi, I'm Kaylee. I have lived in Arizona my whole life, except for the last 8 months that I spent at college. I love to play the piano and sing, and I recently just started playing the organ as well. I also really love watching movies, hiking, biking, baking and reading.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and was baptized when I was 8 years old. When I was 11 I took the challenge to read the Book of Mormon for myself and pray about it. The spirit confirmed to me that it was true and my testimony started to develop more and more over the years. When I read the scriptures, pray and attend church I feel that this is right and I feel my Heavenly Father's love for me. I have felt the difference in my life and I know that Christ did atone for the pains, sicknesses, and sins of the world. I love this gospel and it brings me so much joy!

How I live my faith

I just got a new calling, playing the piano for the kids. It's a lot of fun to be around them and I love music, especially songs with actions!

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

When Christ was on the earth, He was baptized by John the Baptist to set the example for us. We need to be baptized by someone who holds the proper authority so that we can receive a remission of our sins. When we are baptized we make a two way promise with God. We promise to follow Christ, keep His commandments and always remember Him. In turn, God promises to forgive us our sins and allow us to come and live with Him again after this life.
