Hi I'm Andrea Capener

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Stay at home mother of four. I volunteer as a music director at my kids' school for the school musical. I have a degree in Family History and used to be a volunteer director of a family history center. I love to decorate my home and add elements that remind me of my love for my family and my spiritual goals. I enjoy period novels and movies, especially British period pieces. I love music and I love to sing. I can play the piano, but not very well, and I struggle to teach my children the basics of piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his gospel that has been restored to the earth once more through his holy prophets. I have received my own personal witness that this Church is true. I know that if I keep the commandments and endure to the end, I can return, with my family, to live with my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I pray daily, read my scriptures regularly (I am currently reading in Phillipians), and attend church each Sunday so I may partake of the holy sacrament and broaden my understanding of the gospel and the scriptures through the lessons there. I try to live as my Savior would have me live, following his example. When I make mistakes and sin, I seek repentance through prayer with my Father in Heaven. I serve as a choir director in our congregation and also as Cubmaster of our Pack in Cub Scouts. We just finished our annual Pinewood Derby. We read the scriptures together as a family, several nights a week and have family nights with gospel lessons, a game, and a treat.
