Hi I'm Nikki

I'm a 2nd grade teacher from a small town in Wyoming and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I teach 2nd grade and I love what I do. I love to see my 21 kids every morning and here about their adventures. I come from a large family- I am number 4 of 8. I brothers and sisters are my best friends. I like baking, cooking, hiking, running and I've recently picked up the hobby of sewing. I love music, listening to music, playing music and even singing along with the radio.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8 years old. I have always known that this church teaches truth. While my parents' testimonies have given me a solid foundation in the gospel, I have learned for myself of it's truthfulness. I know that God lives, that His Son came to earth and died for our sins. I believe in His atonement and it's power to heal and comfort us. I feel God's love for me every day through the small but significant blessings He sends my way. Living by the principles taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has allowed me to feel peace and happiness that I can't find anywhere else and that I cannot live without.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by visiting with other women who live in my community, especially other women who are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We share our beliefs and interests with each other. When I make an effort to reach out and befriend the people around me, it helps me feel a sense of belonging and acceptance and I hope it helps those I visit as well.
