Hi I'm Tucker LeCheminant

I'm a Musician, an Athlete, a Brother, a Son and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a Missionary in the Texas Fort Worth Mission. I love my mission and the people I serve! I'm 20 years old and i absolutely love life. I love the Sciences and I plan to make a career from my love of them after i get home from my mission. I come from a large family of 8, me being the third oldest. My two older sisters are adopted but i love them no less because of it. When i was fifteen my parents went through a divorce and through re-marriage i now have 12 siblings and 4 parents. All of which i love and couldn't live without. I live for music, I played the Trombone for 6 years in School, but my primary instrument is my voice. I find that the best way for me to worship the lord is to lift my voice in praise and love of him. Life is good and I wouldn't change a thing.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member all my life. I was born into the covenant and never left. I don't know what my life would be without the gospel in it.

How I live my faith

I do my very best to live the gospel in my life and show by example. Though my efforts as a missionary I bring the gospel to the lives of others. I have devoted these two precious years to being a representative of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I do all i can to be clean and worthy of the spirit so it can guide and direct me on the needs of those i serve.

Why did your church previously practice plural marriage (polygamy)?

Tucker LeCheminant
The Lord will, at times, give his people commandments that are for that period of time and not necessarily for his people in another age. Polygamy was one of those commandments. It had it's time and place, and the Lord had his reasons for it. We have always been instructed to practice monogamy except for very choice times when the Lord directed otherwise. Show more Show less
