Hi I'm Ethan

I'm an engineering student. I play the piano and the trumpet. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student at Purdue University, studying astronautical engineering. I love music (I play the piano and trumpet), and I like to play basketball and throw a frisbee with my friends. I enjoy camping and spending time away from the city. Very soon, I will be serving a full-time mission in Peru for two years!

Why I am a Mormon

Ever since I was a child, I have been taught the doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The gospel has always rang true to me. Any doubts I have had at different times in my life quickly disappear as I experience the joy of living the gospel, as well as seeing the pain of those in the world who don't make good choices. I have witnessed the goodness that His church offers to all those who let it be a part of their lives. But that is not all; my testimony of Christ and his church has been confirmed by the powerful presence of the Holy Ghost numerous times. By that power, I do know that this church is Christ's church, and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day by devoting time to grow spiritually. Prayer and consistent scripture study help me to focus on what is important and to draw nearer to God. These things also help me to maintain my standards and set an example to my peers at work and with my friends. Serving others is also a crucial piece of how I demonstrate my faith; I know that when I am serving my fellow beings, I am also serving my God.
