Hi I'm Dan Grant

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Dan and I'm a Mormon. I am 34 years old. I live in Surrey with my Wife and our two kids. I love spending time with my family. I work for an IT company as an HR Director. In my free time I love playing football and golf (all the gear no idea).

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon. The teachings of Jesus Christ help me to be a better husband, father, brother, son and general member of my community. I love knowing where I can from, why I am here and where I am going. I believe in God. I know he loves all his children and desires for them to be happy. I believe we can have a deep and personal relationship with him and that he listens and answers my prayers. I am am grateful for my saviour Jesus Christ. I believe through his grace we can be forgiven for the mistakes we make and find peace and happiness in this life. I love the scriptures. The Bible and Book of Mormon have helped me to draw closer to God and be a better Christian.

How I live my faith

One of the things I love about being a Mormon is having the opportunity to teach my children about the Saviour and his teachings. I also enjoy being able to serve others. In the church each member has a calling or responsibility. Over the past 15 years I have had the chance to work closely with the youth (young people aged 12-17), missionaries and now support the Bishop of the ward as one of his counsellors. All of these opportunities have taught me great joy comes from helping others, putting their needs before your own and working together to overcome challenges and difficulties.
