Hi I'm Byron Nalder

I grew up in Lethbridge Alberta, Canada. I am currently serving a mission in the California Roseville mission.

About Me

I like to be active and work out, lately i have been learning kick boxing. I love to read and to be with friends. I have really come to love reading the Book of Mormon and other scripture. I love to help people out and to do service. I am currently serving a two year mission in the California Roseville mission. It's challenging, but i love it, and it's worth it. I am growing spiritually every day and am becoming a better man. Thats important to me. I want to become the man my Father in Heaven wants me to be.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but i am still a member because i've felt the Spirit(Moroni 10: 3-5), and the cleansing power of Christs sacrifice. I know that this church is true. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins and loves me, just as my Father in Heaven loves me. I know that we are led by a prophet of god and that revelation has not ceased. It hasn't been always easy for me to study my Bible and Book of Mormon but that is how you gain a knowledge of the truth (in addition to sincere prayer) and obtain a lasting conversion. I've actually come to love studying the scriptures and finding all the personal applications it contains. I'm a mormon because it's true. The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is our Lord and Saviour's.

How I live my faith

Right now i am living my faith by serving a mission. It's two years of time and effort that i am sacrificing for the Lord and everyone i teach. But for me sacrifice means giving up something of value for something even greater. This gospel has brought me so much joy and I've seen the blessings it's brought to families and individuals. It's for everyone, and i love to share it.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Byron Nalder
Jesus Christ ministered to all who needed it. How could we call ourselves his disciples if we did not do the same. We are to help everyone regardless of situation, beliefs, and any other thing that may pose as an excuse. We try to help as many people as we can. It doesn't matter if they are a member or not. What do Mormons believe about family?

Byron Nalder
We believe that families were meant to be together forever. We have been given that opportunity through Gods priesthood. Think about being tied eternally to someone you love. It's a beautiful thought. And it's true. It's done through Gods power and is for ever. I am incredibly thankful for it. Search your heart and mind. Then pray and ask God if it's true.
