Hi I'm Wesley

I play rugby, I like to go jeeping, im from arizona and im a mormon

About Me

I just got home from the California Roseville Mission. Before my mission I went to college for a couple semesters. I also played rugby for 4 years. I like to go offroading in my jeep. I like to swim. I love hanging out with my awesome family and friends. I love playing the ukulele. One of my favorite things to do with my brother and dad is to go shooting.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church but I never really had a super strong testimony of my own. I was leaning on other peoples testimony's. I just was kind of going through the motions. Before I left on my mission I believed in the church but since I have been on my mission I have been converted to this gospel. I have really come to know that this is the one true church since i have been on my mission. I have prayed about the Book of Mormon since being on my mission to strengthen my own testimony of it and it was confirmed by our father in heaven that the book of mormon was true. I know this is the one true church that can bring us happiness in this life and it can give us the greatest gift of all which is eternal life with our father in heaven.

How I live my faith

Before I left for my mission I worked in the nursery with the 18 months to 4 year olds for a year or so and it was the best! I also taught the 8 year old class for 3 months before i left for my mission which was way fun also. Now I live my faith by serving a two year mission.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

God has asked us to pay tithing not cause he needs the money but to see how much faith we have its cause he wants to bless us in our lives. When we pay our tithing or 10% of our income God has promised to bless us so much that we will not have enough room to receive it. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Family is important to us because we believe that we can be together as a family even after we die! The family can be a great place of support through challenging times. The family is a place where we can learn and grow. The family can cause us pain or sadness but it can also give us love, happiness, laughter and so much more. Show more Show less

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Well God knew by sending usdown to earth that we would all make mistakes and mess up. so he sent his son Jesus Christ to come and make up for our sins by living a perfect life and atoning for them in the Garden of Gethsamene. No unclean person with sin can live with God and since Christ came down and made up for our sins we can repent and change our lives, follow the commandments and try our best to live the way Christ did so we can live with God again.
