Hi I'm Sarah

I was born and raised in Utah and am going to school to become a math teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a passion for dance (all types-swing, ballroom, tap, jazz, clogging, Irish and anything else!), math (yup I am a nerd...), and being with people. I also love being and doing anything outdoors, especially hiking and camping! I'm just about finished with college--learning to live on my own and balance my life. I am generally a very happy person who finds joy in the small things. :D

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS church. I have always believed it to be true. The Lord and this Gospel brings me true happiness, which I feel time and time again. I am not perfect and am not always on top of living the life I know I should, but the Lord has always been there for me; He doesn't give up on me. Every time I fall He helps me get back up. I have felt the power of the Atonement--that even when I sin and make mistakes, all can be made right. I don't have to live life with regret and burdens, I can be free of those feelings and have true happiness. When I am down at a low, the Lord sends showers of tender mercies in my life. Not always right away, but eventually. And the happiness that can be felt is like nothing else. The best feeling in the world. I can know what I belief is right and true because it not only makes me feel good, but it helps me become better and serve and see the goodness in everyone around me.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week- Sunday is my absolute favorite day of the week! Church is where I'm able to think about and learn of my Savior and ponder on His presence in my life and what I need to improve on. There is always the Spirit there--a feeling of peace, love and joy. It is also a time to get to know other beloved children of God and serve them. This last semester I had the opportunity to teach a class which was a great experience. I also love to take religion classes at every chance I can get. There is always opportunities for such classes, especially back home in Utah. It is not only a good learning experience, but there are many other people I get to know and interact with. It's like a family, a time to grow in the Gospel as well as grow socially.
