Hi I'm Megan Heward

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Wallsburg Utah. I will be a mother of two in May! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for almost two years. I am expecting our second child in May. We decided not to wait long before we got pregnant with our first and then got pregnant with number two shortly after our first child was born. I wouldn't change it for the world. We have a cute little boy and are going to have a girl. I am a stay at home mom and my husband is going to school right now. I love to read and cook. I think that is what I do most of the day! My little boy loves to help me out in the kitchen and we experiment with recipes we've never made before! I also love to go on walks and be outside in the warm sun!

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Gospel! I didn't always appreciate being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon) but have come to love and appreciate it! It gives me such a peaceful feeling to know that we have a loving Heavenly Father who is looking out for us and is willing to help us with anything we allow him to. I gained a strong testimony of the Gospel when I was about 14. I came to know of the Love me Heavenly Father has for me and all His children. It isn't always easy being a member but it is worth it! Since that day when I first found the Gospel to be true I have gained an even stronger testimony of the Atonement, Families being together forever, repentance, love, charity, forgiveness, and many other things. I know that we can be forgiven of the wrong things we've done and continue to do if we do the necessary steps and are sincere about it! I know the Gospel is true and love it!!!

How I live my faith

I have chosen to stay home with my children so i can grow with them and teach them the things they should be taught. It has been a challenge to not go back to work especially since my husband is in school and can't work a whole ton but I have come to know the importance of me being home with my children and being able to provide a good and clean environment for my husband and children. I also like to go and visit people throughout the month. I love to cook and so I will make treats and things and go visit friends or neighbors. It helps me to not focus on myself. It can be easy to get overwhelmed with life and this is a way for me to put my focus somewhere else. I go to church every sunday to worship with other mormons. I like to spend like 20 minutes a day to study or have quiet time. I think this time is greatly needed for me to continue to have my testimony strengthened. Every Monday we get together with our family and have family time. sometimes we play games or have a lesson and a song or go and visit others who are in need or who are lonely.
