Hi I'm Connie!

I was born in Mainland China and grown up in Macao. I love sunshine and beaches. I love the gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from a family of 4. I am a college student. I love reading (in Chinese) and watching movies. I love my family gatherings.

Why I am a Mormon

After my high school graduation in Macao, I chose to study in US. I went to a college in Utah. I had heard a lot of things about "Mormon." People said it's a cult. After arriving Utah, I was being very careful about Mormon, people said they like annoying non-members. I didn't meet any "Mormon" that I heard from other people, but I found some nice people from a church called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I met missionaries through my friend. It was my third time to be in the church, I felt good. I didn't realize that the LDS church is the same church that people called Mormon until my fifth time to go to church. Then I found out more about a book called The Book of Mormon which is an record from an ancient time. I love this book. I found how much God loves through this book and prayers. Even though I was kind of sacred when I was asked to be baptized, I remembered the feeling I had when I prayed and I didn't want to lost that feeling in my life. I was baptized. Life is not easy. However, I always found comforted and guided when I turned to my Father in Heaven. I love God loves me and I know He is aware of me. He also loves my family too. I rememeber what I felt after my first keeling prayer. It was so peaceful, and nothing in the world had ever given me that kind of feelings. I know it is the proof that God loves me. I don't want to lost this feeling. I keep praying and reading the Book of Mormon and I found more peace in life. I know that this is the only true church of God. He is the only God in the university.

How I live my faith

I am now a volunteer of church and help the people in Hong Kong to know the gospel. I visit the families in the areas I am serving 2 or 3 times a week and I also help the young people in their studies and life.
