Hi I'm KaLyn Waggoner

I am a student. I am a Daughter of God. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is KaLyn. I am 20 years old and a sophomore at Florida State University. I am going to school to become a Marine Biologist. I absolutely LOVE the water and am really looking forward to working with marine wildlife. I have grown up, with my dad in the Air Force, so I have moved seven times (not including moving houses). I love being at Disney and I usually cry when I have to leave. I also LOVE going to the temple and I've picking a lot of different temples I want to get married in. I enjoy watching movies with my friends and family in my spare time. I have one brother, one sister, two parents all under one roof. I am the oldest and sometimes enjoy it. And one of my favorite quotes is "Live with no regrets," which is what everyone needs to do!

Why I am a Mormon

Well... I have been raised in the church and I don't regret continuing to follow His plan for me. Without the church I really have no idea where I would be in life. Being LDS makes me who I am today and I love who I am. The majority of my best friends are all in the church and I would be lost without them. They keep me on the straight and narrow path and I'm thankful for their amazing example. I am a Mormon because I know that this is only true church on the Earth. I know that He wants whats best for His children and would do anything and everything to make us all happy. I love Him and I can feel His love for me. I am a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and I want to make Him happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best example I can be to others around me. I serve the callings that I am called upon and help those who are in need of it. I partcipate in young single adult activities as much as I can and follow my friends examples throughout the church. I'm currently re-reading The Book of Mormon and reading to fully understand what is written, rather than reading it to say I've read it. Along with following my friends examples, I also try to be the best example I can be to those around me and teach them what our church is really about. I absolutely love my church and the teachings we live by. They make me the person I am today, and they person I am trying it become.
