Hi I'm Taylor!

I a recently returned home full-time missionary from Long Beach, California, a batman fanatic, love ice cream, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 21, just got off my mission from Long Beach, California. I love playing sports and hanging out with more people in my age. College life is just the best! Who can deny it? I feel that my life is pretty chill. Really relaxed. And I like it that way. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was your typical high school case. Woke up, went to school, played football and basketball, went to work in the off season, and just woke up to start it again. Life gets pretty bland.. After not too long, I began to wonder why I was doing all of these things to lead me to happiness and why it wasn't working. I loved psychology, and looking from a psychological perspective, things made sense but didn't feel right. I understood that religion in general could have been invented to prevent and protect from others from the unexplained, but simply enough, when you feel something that doesn't come from yourself, those feelings don't make much sense anymore. It honestly does take a heartfelt prayer looking for a reassurance, and then a step forward with faith. Further experimenting and searching led to really reading about the Book of Mormon, being the base to the religion. I know by the power of the Holy Ghost that it is true. It will lead a man closer to God than any other book.

How I live my faith

You want to be happy, right? Well, me too. God has told us how to be happy. The secret is putting Him into your life. So, that being said, I go to church every week, try to go to the institute of religion as much as i can, read my scriptures and pray daily.. But the key to being "Christian" is to bring yourself closer to Christ every chance you get, and then help your neighbor to do the same. So, I try to do that too.
