Hi I'm LaRaya

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my whole life and absolutely LOVE being a Mormon.

About Me

I am 17 years old and a Senior in high school. I am on a competitive dance team at my studio and we travel around the area and compete solos, duets, trios, and group routines. I have played the piano for 12 years and compete in a music competition once a year. I love animals, hanging out with my friends, nature, movies, music, and spending time with my family. I aspire to be a Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistant to kids with special needs. I love children and I love helping others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a testimony of my Savior and my Heavenly Father. I know that my Father in Heaven loves me and that I am His daughter. I can feel His love for me as I do the things that I am commanded to do. I feel His love as I share the gospel with others, am an example to those around me, read my scriptures daily, and speak with Him in prayer daily. I am a Mormon because it makes me a better person. I am a Mormon because I love my family and friends. I am a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I chose the right plan. I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I strive to do my best in everything I do and obey the commandments. I attend my church activities regularly and am constantly learning more about the gospel. I also attend church youth programs every summer and try to share the gospel with my friends. I keep a more modest code at dance and do not cuss or talk about inappropriate things. I try to say my prayers and read my scriptures every day. I attend early morning seminary at 6:00 a.m. every morning with 17 other high school students.

What is faith?

LaRaya
Faith is believing in something that you can't see. It's trusting that that thing or person exists. Faith is the act of believing and trusting in someone thing or someone. Show more Show less
