Hi I'm Tysum

I am a twin. I love learning. I wand to go to school to become a bio-medical engineer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into a faithful family of Latter-Day Saints. I was taught to learn, study and find out answers for myself. I grew up for most of my life without a father figure in the home. My father passed away when I was 5 and my mother never remarried. Like everyone else my life was never easy, but I made it through with the help of my Heavenly Father. I love to play racquet ball, hang out with friends, and to study math and science. I have a great love and respect for my mom and the values she taught me. I am planning to study to become a bio-medical engineer.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know for myself that this is Christ's church. I didn't learn this all at once. It took me several years of reading and praying before I was able to know this for myself. I never had a miraculous experience; rather, my testimony came over time as I learned how to listen to the Spirit. Being a Mormon isn't easy, but I know that the principles that Christ teaches are the only path to true happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the standards that Christ has set up for His disciples to the best of my abilities. I am not perfect, but instead of giving up, I turn to my Savior and lean on His arm as He makes me more that I can be alone. Currently I am serving the Lord on a two year mission. I have sacrificed this time so that I can help others to know and to understand the peace and happiness of knowing and worshiping their Savior.
