Hi I'm Teresa

I was born in Louisiana, but have spent most of my life in South Carolina. I love being a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I have four grown children and four grandchildren. I love family life, helping others, yoga, water aerobics, traveling and gardening. I work as a Registered Nurse. My mother lives with us and we have a great time together.

Why I am a Mormon

My husband and I were Methodist, but were searching for a church that taught more of the gospel plan, as we had read in the Bible. Shortly after we married two missionaries shared their Mormon beliefs with us from the Bible and the Book Of Mormon. We found these beliefs were what we knew to be true, so we joined The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints (Mormons). With the help of the Holy Ghost we continue to grow daily spiritually. This helps us to find joy in serving others. We look forward to the day when we can return home to live with our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and our eternal family. Eternal life is possible because of the sacrifice of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins.

How I live my faith

My congregation is like family to me, and they are some of my best friends. We help each other to enjoy living a good Christian life. My current church duties are conducting the music; arranging for baby sitting for our women's activity meetings; serving in the temple; and visiting some of the women, in our congregation, to share our monthly gospel message.

Are Mormons Christians?
