Hi I'm Daniel

I grew up in Utah. I live in Orange County, California with my wife and five kids and yes, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah and now live in Oregon with my wife and four children. We have lived in Utah, Iowa, Michigan and Oregon and have loved every place we've been in. I love sports! I am a former shot put and discus thrower. I love to be in the outdoors camping, fishing, or hunting. I love to travel and have spent many summers growing up traveling to Sweden to compete in track and field and visit relatives. I served a mission for my church in Sweden.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. My parents raised me in the church and taught me the importance of following Jesus Christ. As I grew up I found it important to find out for myself if the things my parents had taught me were true. From a young age, I have known, and continue to know, that God hears and answers every sincere prayer. Through prayer, reading the scriptures, and seeing countless miracles in the lives of others and myself; I have come to know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and that His gospel has been restored to the earth in its fullness. After studying and praying for myself I have found out for myself the truth of the Book of Mormon and of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Through these experiences I know that Heavenly Father loves each of His children and has a plan for each and every one of us!

How I live my faith

I enjoy living the gospel with my family, including reading the scriptures, praying and attending church together. As a father my greatest responsibility is to my family. I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife and I dedicate one night a week as our family night. During our family night our family participates in activities that strengthen us as a family and strengthen our resolve to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. Much of my service in our church during the past several years has been spent with the youth ages 12-18. I try to look for ways to serve others. I believe in helping others to be happy. God has put us here to help each other out on our journey through life.
