Hi I'm Del

I am a husband, father, and cheerleader for my family. I take care of children with heart defects and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am first and foremost a husband and father. I enjoy above all else spending time with my family. We enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, hunting, running, biking, playing all kinds of sports, and cheering each other on. I am a Pediatric Cardiologist and have the great honor of working with children with heart defects and their families. We are transplants to Kentucky but after 21 years we are grateful to be here to stay.

Why I am a Mormon

We are surrounded by amazing people and families from a wide diversity of faiths. They are so generous and kind. They are truly Christians in every sense of the word. I know that all good comes from God and appreciate those who are so dilligent in doing good in these times. I also know that there is an order to things of God and a need for authority in performing the ordinances required of us. Our Savior went specifically to John the Baptist to be baptized despite the widespread practice of this ordinance. Through his example we know that the authority to perform ordinances in God's name is important. I'm a Mormon because that authority is found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I'm a great example of the principle of repentance and God's grace in forgiveness. I try daily to live my faith and daily see that I have fallen short. I have a testimony that God's grace is sufficient for all those who diligently seek Him. I live my faith by trying always to move closer to my Heavenly Father.
