Hi I'm Farica

I am blessed to be a mom. I'm proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised right here in the South. I have a love for Georgia; gotta love that Georgia weather! I am a mother of three beautiful children and we are expecting our fourth child. I have a great husband that I know loves me very much and he is an awesome father! I love to sew and make boutique dresses and outfits for my daughter. I love watching my children grow and learn new things every single day. I re-live the beauty and joys of the world through the eyes of my little ones. I feel honored and blessed to have been given the calling of being a mother.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon. My parents were converts in their early twenties so I have heard their conversion story many times and it gets me every time. For me, I've always known the church is true. I remember as a child I would listen to these cute little LDS songs, for example, I'm a Mormon and When I grow up I want to be a mother. There were always moments throught these songs when I would get this warm, tingling, good feeling all over and I couldn't explain why those songs made me feel so good. As I got older and I realized what it felt like to feel the Holy Ghost I knew that that was what I had been feeling when I was listening to those songs as a child. Having the Holy Ghost confirm to you the things that you are hearing and feeling is true is an unmistakable feeling and I could never deny that I've felt it millions of times. I have a strong testimony of Joseph Smith and his account of what happened to him when he went into the woods to pray about which church he should join. For me, this was the biggest clincher that this church is true. As a fourteen year old boy, and what he described happend to him that day, the things that he accounts for has to be true. A boy this age would not have maintained what happened to him all of his life and edured all the trials and persecution he did, and ultimately lost his life, if what happened to him was not true. I know the church is true and I know Joseph Smith was specifically chosen to do the Lord's work in restoring the fullness of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live like Jesus would. This is ultimately why we are here on this earth. I accept any calling I am offered in the church and try to serve in my calling with diligence and faith. I have always been impressed with the fact that everyone performs their callings in the church without any form of payment. It is done out of love for the Savior and to bring to pass the work of the Lord. I try to help anyone I can and try to be involved in the community with fundraisers and/or relief efforts. I not only try to be a good example to my kids but also to my friends and faimly. I aim to be honest in all that I do and say. I strive to live that kind of life that I would not be ashamed of when the time comes and I stand before the Lord in accountability.
