Hi I'm Julianne Hansen

I have the beautiful experience to serve a full-time proselyting mission in the city of Frankfurt Germany. And yes, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Some say I have too much energy. I am still trying to decide what that means. My energy is what leads me to try out new things and meet new people. It has been an interesting journey--these past 22 years of life. I took up the guitar two years ago and love writing songs when I get the chance. I love to get out and hike up mountains, and run away on my bike. Dancing. Salsa dancing. That is my passion. I have had various jobs throughout my life--teaching aerobics at BYU Provo, nannying for an Italian family and Political leader, waiting on tables in California, teaching P.E.

Why I am a Mormon

Hmmmm. This is a loaded question. If I could sum it up in one word it would be PEACE. The gospel principles taught and fostered in the LDS church are the best anchor of my peace that I have ever found. I KNOW through the FEELINGS I receive after long prayers and searching in the scriptures, that Jesus Christ loves me personally. Nothing I do, whether good or bad, will ever limit the love He has for me. I love that truth. He comforts me when I am lonely. He leads me when I am lost. He heals me when I am hurt. He is my Savior and friend. What is great about this is that when I feel this love from Him, I want to share it with others. It is a growing, expansive love.

How I live my faith

I share it. There is no way I can feel such cleansing, purifying love from my Savior and not desire to share this with others. I understand that some Mormons may be seen as over-zealous about their religion. And quite honestly, I may have been perceived at some point of time in my life as one. But please know this excitement is pure and motivated by love. Cookies too. I like to make cookies. And give them out with Books of Mormon.
