Hi I'm James

I am an RAF Veteran and live in Scotland. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a disabled RAF Veteran, Married with one child who is now married too. My hobbies are Sci-Fi, Learning the Guitar, Painting with Acrylics, cooking.. I think Cocker Spaniels are the best dogs in the world for pets, next to Jack Russels ofcourse. I care for people and help where I can..

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church gave me the answers that no other church could give me, that God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are not one being as most church's portray, but three seperate beings like I always thought, as it says in the Bible when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, when the voice of God was heard saying "This is my son in whom I'am well pleased, hear him", God does not have a split personality where he talks to himself and about himself, God was introducing His son Jesus Christ, all I can say is think about what I have written, doesn't it make sense to you? I love God and His son Jesus Christ and look forward to the guidance of the Holy Ghost every day of my life, as long as I remain worthy by living the gospel, loving my neighbor and I am honest in my dealings, and I pray daily that I have the strength to endure.. Being a Mormon is being a member of the true church, yes we believe Jesus, in Christmas and Birthdays etc, as this is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and should not be confused with other organizations that do not.. This is a family oriented church and we beleive in Family First... Give us a try, you will not regret it, and you just might find that your search has ended & that you do have a place in the plan of salvation, you do have a purpose and reason for being here on earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith as the Lord asks us, by the Gospel with Jesus supporting me and guidance from the Holy Ghost.. I try to participate in events that benefit the community, but also events that strengthen my testimony as well as others... I love to serve others in a way that it will benefit them in a righteous way for example: If someone is in need, I will try to help or find someone who can and I beleive firmly in charity, as charity does not mean shame or is shameful, charity is giving or accepting kindness without being made to feel ashamed... My faith gives me long term happiness, not the short term buzz that society inflicts on the community these days... Try to find out more about how being a Mormon can change your life FOR THE BETTER!! contact your local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or go through this site to ask for a visit from our full time missionaries (They won't bite), and you may learn the answer to the question you are asking yourself, which is "YES!!", I am home, this is the place for me.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Joseph Smith is not worsipped by members of the church, he was the person who was chosen by God to restore Christ's church to the earth, I feel gratitude to him because of his great faith and questions he asked of God, he was answered when he asked what church he should join himself to, an answer came to him from God that he should not join any of the church's, and was then chosen to restore this church to the earth...
