Hi I'm Valentina

I grew up in Russia. I am a daughter, a wife, a mother and a grandmother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia and have lived in Colorado since 1993. My hobbies are family history research, gardening and studying French. I am an avid grandma. In my free time I enjoy reading. I love Russian literature. I feel blessed to be a Mormon, knowing so many great people, and serve church callings.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Knowledge that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ came to the earth to atone and save me personally among the other people bring excitement and happiness in my life. I am a convert and my life was changed drastically after I learned that I matter for our Heavenly Father and He takes care about each of his children. After I was baptized and received the gift of the Holy Ghost, I experienced the feeling I did not know before. It was a warm feeling of joy and peace that I do not want to loose.

How I live my faith

I love the LDS lifestyle: keeping God's commandments, focusing on a family, keeping the word of wisdom, serving others, going to the temple, serving the church calling. All of these help to keep a precious gift of the Holy Ghost and feel its guidance. I love the women organization of the church and its visiting teaching program that allows sisters in each ward to take good care of each other and their families. I teach one Sunday lesson a month at the women organization. Belonging to the ward sisterhood and ward family means very much for me.
