Hi I'm Kyle Urrutia

I grew up in California. I love sports! I'm currently a Engineering student at BYU Idaho. I'm happily married and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an electrical engineering student coming up on graduation. I enjoy my career choice but I love being with my wife and son more than anything else. Being outdoors is one of my favorite things. I've recently hiked trails near the Teton mountains in Idaho and I'm always amazed at the wonderful creations that God has given to us. I love to play sports especially basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I turned 8 years old. I remember the days leading up to my baptism and how I knew the decision I was going to make and the commitment it was going to take to stick to the promises I was going to be making with my Heavenly Father. Since my baptism I haven't been sin free but that is what is so amazing about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we can repent of our sins and be clean again! The reason i'm a Mormon is because I know that God has called a prophet on the earth and God leads us through his prophet today. I know that the opportunity to be baptized by one having authority from God is on the earth today. I'm grateful for the plan of salvation that God has established and how through Jesus Christ we can return to live with Him and with our families after this life on earth. I love this church because no matter where you go in the world, you are apart of a people who loves God and loves to serve others. I am a Mormon because i've gained a testimony of the Book of Mormon and I know that it is the word of God.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ! and I try to live my faith through good works. My wife and I love to help people around us and serving others is something we strive to do daily. I always try to remember all the blessings that God has given to me and in turn impart what i've been given to those around me. Something as simple as giving somebody a ride who needs one could have a great impact on a person. I also live my faith by attending church meetings each Sunday. I'm grateful that God has designated a day where we can remember Him and His son Jesus Christ. I have seen the blessings that come into my family's life when we keep the Sabbath day holy.
