Hi I'm Nicole Browning

I grew up in Ohio. Now I live in Utah and teach elementary school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an elementary school teacher in Utah and I love my job. Teaching children is such a rewarding experience every day and I learn so much from my students. I have a newfound love of reading. I read children's books and young adult fiction in my spare time. I went to college at Brigham Young University. My hobbies are singing and acting so I love musical theater and watch musicals every chance I get. I also love to do yoga and go running when I get the chance. Oh, and when I'm upset or worried I tend to go on a cleaning spree around my apartment. Either that or make chocolate chip cookies and deliver them to people. I try to be an optimistic person and look at the beauty in life. I've learned that when you smile, it makes your life so much better while also blessing the lives of the people around you.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel because of the effect that it's had on my life. I have had so many different experiences that have changed my life and the gospel has been a strength to help me through my trials and hard times. I am so much happier when I live by the standards set out by the Savior. I know that he loves me and wants me to be happy. He wants me to receive eternal life and have joy forever in his presence. I want to be a good person and bless the lives of others and by following God's commandments. I have felt God's love for me and know that he wants what's best for me. He has a plan for my life and knows everything that I've gon through.

How I live my faith

I am in charge of the temporal and spiritual wellbeing of the women in my area. I plan activities, lessons, and service for them to ensure that they are doing well and staying safe and healthy while enjoying life. I make it a point to know all the women in my area and and concerns or needs that they have. Then I do what I can to help them deal with any struggles. I also have fun with them and become friends building a caring and loving relationship. Another area that I focus on is the religious education of the member under my responsibility. We continually learn more and grow in our faith so that we can better follow the commandments of God.
