Hi I'm Alecia

I am a scientist and a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In my science studies, I came to learn that scientists have more questions the answers, that helped me to trust my heart in matters of faith and life. I love science (particularly chemistry) and can't wait to know the answers to so many questions.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been the type of person that has to learn life's lessons the hard way, but thanks to my faith, I have a much greater perspective that has led to a much more peaceful life. Living what Jesus teaches has consistently brought me more peace and love in my life.

How I live my faith

I am privileged to teach the children ages 3-12 the music of the Gospel. They are such wonderful people, and helping them understand what we believe through music and activities is an absolute joy. They are so bright and so good that I have every confidence in the future generation. The individual teachers that have taught and loved my preschooler is such a gift. I pray for them to reach, teach, and love my little one.

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

There are rare cases where abortion is needed, but a pregnancy is such a biological and spiritual feat, that ending it for reasons other than true need is not a kind, Christ-like action. Show more Show less
