Hi I'm Sierra Wardle

I'm a missionary. I love to workout. I love soccer. I love music. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I'm a full-time missionary in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission. I have loved every second of it and I'm grateful for all the experiences I've had. Back home I loved to workout and play soccer. I loved spending time with my friends and family. I attended Utah Valley University and will be attending there when I return from my mission. I love this gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love this gospel and the principles/teachings it has to offer. I grew up in Heber, UT and all of my friends were LDS. I wasn't the type to listen to people, so my friends never talked to me about the church. When one of my great friends brother went on his mission, he told me to take care of his little sister while he was gone. So as he was gone, I started going to church with her because I knew it would make her happy and keep her safe. I started to really enjoy what the individuals were teaching and I always had an unspeakable feeling when I would be in the church and over at members houses. I asked my friend to get the missionaries over to give me the lessons because I wanted to know more about this church. She started crying, and at the time I didn't realize why it was such a big deal. But now that i've been part of this church I really understand why it's a big deal. Everything is true about this gospel and we want to do the things on this Earth to be able to live with our Heavenly Father again some day. That's what this life is for. I'm so thankful for this church and the blessings that have come from it. I can't wait to serve my mission in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission at the end of January 2013. I hope the people in Georgia feel my spirit and want to learn more about this gospel. I testify that I know this church is true and I can't wait until I get to be in our Heavenly Father's presence again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith right now by serving the Lord as a full time missionary and relying on Heavenly Father to protect me and bring forth people in my paths while i'm serving a mission. I also pray morning and night and give him thanks for everything that he's given me. I read my scriptures everyday because I believe that we talk to Heavenly Father through prayer and he talks to me through scriptures.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Sierra Wardle
We believe that families will last forever, for all of time and eternity. Family members who accept the Atonement of Jesus Christ and follow His example can be together forever through sacred ordinances performed in God's holy temples. Jesus gave to Peter the power to have things sealed on earth and sealed in heaven. We believe that they can be "sealed" or bound together through His power enabling them to live together in eternity. What are Mormon Temples used for?

Sierra Wardle
Temples are houses of the Lord, the most sacred structures on the earth. The ordinances that happen inside are sacred to members of the LDS church, we don't talk about what happens in the Temple, outside of the Temple. It's a place of prayer, questions being answered, truth, and a build up of our own testimony. Sacred ordinances are received inside the temple. Baptisms for the dead for the people who have died without the opportunity to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ. Sealings that bind husband and wife together for all time and eternity, as long with families (children). Show more Show less
