Hi I'm Kellie

I was raised on a dairy farm. I am in Nursing school. I am a new Mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in the beautiful state of Kentucky. I was raised by my Mother and Grandparents. I go to college at a school so small most Kentuckians have never even heard of it (Lindsey Wilson College). I was lucky enough to find my husband my Sophomore year and we have been married for a year and a half. I played volleyball for 2 years for my college until I had my baby girl. She is definitely the apple of my eye. Her name is Blakely. I love being involved with my church family as well as visiting my blood family. I also enjoy any sport, sewing, writing and outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because I know it is true. I was raised in the Church and always thought the teachings seemed "logical" but I wasn't truly converted until I was 18. Through struggles, the Lord showed me how much he loves me and how faithfulness to his word can bring the greatest happiness in this life. I know that my family can be together forever, that I will once again live with my Father in Heaven and that the happiness I feel here will be incomparible to the eternal happiness the Lord has for those who love him.

How I live my faith

Living in a rural area, I am usually a major minority. I live my faith by letting others know about my love for the lord and my knowledge of the power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I also enjoy blogging about personal experiences that have been a result of or influenced by my faith.
