Hi I'm Jami

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother first and foremost. Those are the things that are most important to me. I love to do things with my family. We love to go to basketball games and movies or anything that we can do as a family. I'm also a student and have been for a long time and probably will be for a while still. I love sports, especially volleyball and I also love to dance.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all of my life. I have had moments where I have wondered if this is right, but it all makes sense to me. I know that the gospel is true and I have had many experiences that have strengthened my testimony. If my faith ever begins to waiver, I think back to some of the experiences I've had and how I felt during those experiences. There is no way that I can deny the feeling I get when the Spirit is present. I know that Jesus Christ lives and that he is my Savior. I know that He died and atoned for our sins so that we could repent and return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father again. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I have read it and each time I read it I am reminded that it IS true! I know that my family can be together for eternity. It is such a comfort to me to know that because my husband and I were sealed in the temple, we can have our children with us even after we die. I sometimes wonder what my life would have been like without this gospel in it. I'm so glad that I have had the guidance and teaching that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints brings. It is such a blessing in my life.

How I live my faith

I'm not perfect by any means, but I try really hard to do a little better at something everyday. The things that I feel help me live my faith the most are little things like reading my scriptures, praying, attending church, and serving others. I have had opportunities to work with people of all ages and I learn so much from all of them. It amazes me how smart young children are and how much I can learn from them. I most recently work with the youth, and they amaze me more and more every day. They have such strength.
