Hi I'm Jaime Armstrong

I'm Southern. I'm relaxed, active and a nerd. I love games, music, family and fun. I'm serving a Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very curious person, and I enjoy challenging myself (most of the time). I have always liked learning about how things work, figuring out how to do things, and thinking of how to build things. So, I have never ever been bored a moment in my life. I love having fun and laughing is a hobby. I have always enjoyed the scouting program, and I have obtained the rank of Eagle. Adventure has become more and more important in my life. I have grown to love discovering new things, and applying the gospel in the process.

Why I am a Mormon

The truths of this gospel have always just made sense to me. I have never had a doubt about the authenticity of the Book of Mormon. That is odd because I always question everything, including church, God, and the whole picture. But the reality of the Book of Mormon has helped me to gain a solid personal testimony, without doubt, about Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and His Atonement, the Holy Ghost, and the entire Gospel of Christ. All of that from reading and living the teachings from one book of God. You should try it out.

How I live my faith

I use to live my faith just by believing it and always doing what I was asked. For a while, that was sufficient enough to allow me to have leadership positions for the young men in the church, serve the community during scouting activities, participate in community service projects, and be a help to my friends and family. But eventually, just believing was not enough. I needed to know it for myself with out a doubt. So I did what I thought was the best way to know something; I tried it. I decided to really live the gospel by serving a mission in order to help others obtain what I have. As I give all my effort to serving the Lord, I have seen many blessings not only in my own life, but in the lives of all other people that I meet and teach. I never give up an opportunity to help another person in any way. I have really come to enjoy knowing the gospel for myself and look forward to being an example to everyone of the blessings I have received.

Why was a Restoration of the Gospel needed? Haven’t we always had the Bible?

Jaime Armstrong
Yes, we have always had the Bible. And the Bible its self prophesies of an Apostasy that proceeds a restitution, or, in Spanish, a restauracion of all things. I have no idea WHY we needed an apostasy to begin with, but prophets prophesied of it, and it happened. I am so very thankful that God loves us enough to restore his church back to the way he wants it. Why is that important? In this world we live in, we need all the help we can get. That help comes in the form of the Prophets, Apostles, Priesthood, organization, authority to baptize, gift of the Holy Ghost, and knowledge of the Plan of Salvation. Why not believe in a God that has that much love for us? The scriptures say it all. Show more Show less
