Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a college student studying physical therapy and trying to walk-on the basketball team. I'm 21 and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up the youngest with two older brothers raised by my amazing parents. Sports have always been a huge part of my life. As far as I can remember, I have been playing and watching sports. I started with soccer, then basketball and baseball. Later I would start foot ball. I always had the desire to compete and win. In high school I played football until my senior year and played basketball all the way through. Basketball was my first true love and still is my favorite thing to do. I also participated in Student Council, We the People, Business Professionals of America, Natural Helpers, and the Boy Scouts of America where i earned the ranking of an Eagle Scout. I served a mission in Alberta, Canada and now I am college student preparing to try to walk-on the basketball team and studying physical therapy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but I continue to live my life as a Mormon because without the gospel in my life I would be lost. I am guided everyday by the teaching of the Savior that have been taught to me as long ago as I can remember and I have seen the blessings that have been poured upon because of it. I have witnessed so may miracles because of the gospel and the teachings of Christ. The miracles came from faith, hope, prayer, and often Priesthood Power which is real. It truly comes from our Father in Heaven and His Son Jesus Christ. I know that through the Savior my sorrow, guilt, and sins can be swept away and replaced with hope and joy. He truly did take upon him not only the sins of those that would repent, but the pains and sorrows and trials of all who would believe on HIm. I know that my family can live together forever and that there is more after this life. I know what my purpose is and I know who I am. My Father in Heaven has a plan for me and i can return to live with Him. I truly am a child of God and he loves and know me. I know that through prayer I can communicate with Him and he will hear me and speak to me through the Holy Ghost who is the Holy Spirit. I know through prayer that Joseph Smith was called to be a prophet and that the Book of Mormon is true. All people can learn this through prayer and learn this is our Heavenly Father's church and find peace and joy. I know I can receive continued guidance through a prophet today in President Monson and the chosen Apostles. I would truly lost without the church and without the gospel of Jesus Christ. We all needit

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day bu trying to remember all that our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ have done for us. I strive each day to love more as the Savior loved by being caring and kind. I try not to judge others and to hold a positive outlook and attitude in life. Each day I pray and read the Book of Mormon and other scripture. I try to look for opportunities to serve others and be like the Savior. As I do these things I find much more happiness in life. I truly try to live all that I believe no matter what others might think. The most important thing I try to remember is to be the person my Father in Heaven wants me to be and who he knows I can become.
