Hi I'm Jeff

I'm a basketball playing waterskiier, I have a beautiful wife, three great kids and a schnauzer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a tall drink of water who enjoys movies, hanging our with family and friends, and I'm a bit of a sci-fi geek. A husband and father of two boys and a girl, I'm a chiropractor who works with a lot of athletes and sports injuries. I love to water-ski in the summers and play basketball year round. My wife and I enjoy snow skiing with the kids in the winter and watching them participate in their sporting events.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church mainly living in the province of Alberta. My parents were and are strong members of the church, and I have a strong heritage when it comes to my extended family and the examples that have been set for me. I really solidified my testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ while I was serving as a missionary for the church in Nevada from 1994-1996. The experiences I had there confirmed my faith that Jesus Christ suffered for my sins, and that by turning to Him I can find peace and happiness in this life, and most importantly, be with my family and those I love in the life to come. The Saviors church is the most important thing in my life as it has brought me my wife and my children, and everything that I count as important to me.

How I live my faith

I try to get better at living my faith everyday. Reading the scriptures, attending my Sunday meetings, and trying to set an example of how a Mormon is to live to those around me. Am I perfect in these endeavors, absolutely not, but that is why my faith is important to me, because the Savior's sacrifice allows me to repent, be clean, and try again to be a better person tomorrow. I love serving with the leaders in the church as they teach me how to be a better leader in my home. My wife is the best, she is one of my best teachers on how to be a better husband and father. My kids are pretty great as well, I try (and need to try harder) to be the best father for them. Living my faith is not restrictive, I find that obeying the laws of the Lord allow me to live my best life.
