Hi I'm Morgan

I'm an artist and perpetual learner and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm going to school at BYU-Idaho to study something stupendous that I haven't decided on yet. I want to be learning something new everyday. I spend great deals of time reading, drawing, writing, drumming and dancing. I'm a middle child in a family of 10. They inspire me with their humor, love, and hard-work to try harder to be a better person. I love them for it. I love old things...old books, vintage clothing, old homes, and especially old people like my amazing grandparents. In essence, my family is the reason I am the way I am and I love the things I love.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I have come to know for myself that Jesus is not only my savior but the savior of the whole earth. God is our loving Heavenly Father and we are his children and all he wants is for us to return to be with him again one day. The Book of Mormon is the word of God, written our these last days and I wouldn't be able to testify of that fact without having experienced the change it has had on my life in a very real and personal way. I'm a Mormon because I know without a doubt that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the restored Church of Christ once again on the earth.

How I live my faith

Despite the members of the Mormon church proclaiming we're disciples of our savior Jesus, we're not perfect. I'm learning and growing and making mistakes (some much bigger than others) everyday, just like everyone else. I want to do my best, though, I am working and striving continually to better myself because there is much I have to work on. I live my faith by being the best example I can be and repenting when I've done wrong or offended someone. I attend my church meetings and follow the commandments that have been put in place for our betterment by God through his prophets, even our modern day prophet, Thomas Monson.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Morgan
The Word of Wisdom is something we live by to keep our bodies and minds happy and healthy! It was actually put into place before there was any scientific evidence that smoking or drinking excessive alcohol was unhealthy. It was well before it's time! Show more Show less
