Hi I'm Angela

I'm a wife, a mother, music lover, and a full-time student hoping to one day teach Elementary school, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always loved to learn. My goal was to finish college right after High School, but then I met my sweetheart, and got married We decided that I would work to support him in finishing school with the understanding that after he finished I would go back. However, after his graduation we became the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl. Full time school took a backseat to the wonderful world of motherhood. My husband kept his word, though, and I was able to take a few night classes. Then the exciting news that we were expecting twin boys came. Needless to say, school was not a high priority and motherhood became my number one priority. Six years later, we were blessed with our fourth son. With each of my children I learned that I loved to teach them in preschool and loved being in their classrooms volunteering. It was then I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. I continued to take one class each semester working toward that goal. Life was much too busy for more and I was loving being a wife and mother first. Finishing my degree is very important to me, and now, with a daughter getting married, two sons on missions, and my youngest turning 14, I am a full-time student. I may be the oldest in my classes but I love going to school and I love learning. I love working with children and cannot wait have a classroom of my own.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I have been a member my entire life, I was fourteen years old when I finally gained my own testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ after reading the Book of Mormon. I have had so many experiences in my life to know that our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ know me, personally, and love me. I know that Heavenly Father does hear and does answer every prayer I utter. Sometimes the answer isn't what I want, but, through experience, I do know that He knows me and knows what is best for me. I love being a wife and a mother. Family is so very important to me, and to the Lord. It is not always easy being a wife and a mother, especially in a world that doesn't always recognize the value of marriage and motherhood. However, I know that by being a faithful wife and staying home and raising my children has been the best decision I have ever made. I am very blessed with a husband who also knows the value of this and supports me in this. It is within the family that I have experienced my greatest joy.

How I live my faith

I have the great opportunity to work with and teach the children 18 months-3 years old. These little ones are so precious. Each one is so eager to learn about Jesus Christ and his love for them. I can't help but love them myself. Through the years I have worked with the Youth, children, and the women organization. I have such a testimony of service and know that when we are serving others or teaching others we are following the example of Jesus Christ, and serving our Heavenly Father.
